About Me
Ridwan, known as Mas Ridwan, is a healthcare administration professional, educator, writer, and founder of Mas Ridwan Academy and IndonesianRemoteWorkers.com.
He hails from Trowulan, Mojokerto, East Java, Indonesia, and has been living in California, United States, since 2014.
Career Journey
He started his career in Indonesia as a teacher before moving to the United States.
In the early years of his stay, he worked in the hospitality industry before transitioning to healthcare administration.
To support this transition, he pursued Healthcare Administration studies at Mayfield College, graduating in 2018 as salutatorian — the student with the second-highest academic ranking in his class.
Since 2018, Ridwan has been working at an internal medicine clinic in California. He started as a medical receptionist and later handled various administrative functions, including patient scheduling, insurance verification, electronic medical records, referral coordination, and clinic operations.
In 2022, he was promoted to office manager, responsible for the daily operational management of the clinic.
Ventures & Initiatives
Drawing from this experience, in 2025 he founded Mas Ridwan Academy, a training program that prepares participants to work as Medical Virtual Assistants (MVA) in the US healthcare system.
A year later, in 2026, he launched IndonesianRemoteWorkers.com, a platform connecting US healthcare companies with remote workers from Indonesia, while also providing information on remote work opportunities.

Outside of work, Ridwan actively shares educational content across various social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Threads, focusing on life in the United States, international employment, healthcare administration, immigration, and remote work opportunities.
Book
He is the author of Memoar Sang Pemimpi: Perjalanan Anak Buruh Tani Meraih Asa, Cita, dan Cinta di Amerika, an autobiography chronicling his journey from Indonesia to the United States.
In general, Ridwan's professional activities focus on healthcare administration, vocational education, and developing remote work access for Indonesian professionals.
